Department of Biochemistry - Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences - United Arab Emirates University
The appointee will be involved in the undergraduate teaching of medical students at various levels and will be expected to pursue an active research programme. The specific interests of the department include molecular biology of cancer and diabetes, signal transduction pathways and antimicrobial/neuroendocrine peptides. It is expected that the appointee’s research interests will complement those of the existing faculty.
Candidates for this position must hold a Ph.D or M.D. or equivalent higher professional qualification and provide evidence of undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching experience.
